How do we get from Orlando Florida to Cancun being as cheap as possible for 4 days. We dont care how ghetto it is. Well take a ferry, boat, bus, car, whatever. As long as its cheap as hell. And trying to get to cancun as soon as possible.

So, one of my best friends from high school brought us on this billionaire vacacion. In high school, all 4 of us were like best friends. We worked together, took same classes always hung out etc. It was so amazing.

He didn’t grow up this rich either! So, he took us on a private jet that was HUUGE. It had like 3 flight attendants. he picked us up and drove us there in this new range rover and like parked next to the plane. He didn’t like park his car first and then walk in to get on your plane… he literally parked it at t he airplane and you get on then they move it to this private parking lot with a gate. Then we got on his jet. it was just us 4 in there and they had like 3 flight attendants like breaking their asses to help us.

We get there and then just walk out of the jet and right into the helicopter… they move all the bags for u and stuff. And there is even a bar, and bathroom and a flight attendant for the helicopter. One of the chairs can turn into a big couch to sleep on.

It lands near the water at a marina and then we are met in like a huge SUV to take us to the boat. They made us dinner, and then we went to sleep.

We got up at like 8 the next morning and they made a whole breakfast buffet for us.. it was soo good and they make anything else that you want with it. We had mimosas.

We went snorkeling, drove around his speed boat and floated in this beautiful lagoon beach… they had hammocks in front of tables so we like laid down and ate lunch in the shade between the palm trees. After lunch, we took the speed boat back to the yacht to have drinks and cheese and crackers. We were drinking lots of wine that was sooo expensive… they made us dinner on the back deck of the yacht, and turned it around so we could see the sunset. it was so amazing.

After that, they docked in Key West florida and went out all night until everything closed. by then, we just went back to the yacht and slept.

We had a late morning the next morning – just sat around and didn’t do shit. We made them make us a ton of food… we just would want random things and they’d make it.

After that we went back into the jet, and it went to New York City and we just walked up 5th ave and shopped. He got like 100 things and he bought us all things from like 20 stores. After that we had dinner at Rockerfeller Center took his jet again from New York City back home. And it wasn’t even as if we couldn’t drive back from NYC, it would take an hour. Instead, we took the jet it took 20 minutes.

He grew up with the same amount of money as we did! This is like new for him this year. Also, he made it all on his own… How did he get so rich!!! It was so random and like out of the blue.

i am going on a cruise in january to jamaica (i have never been there before).
i will only be in Ocho Rios (i don’t know if i spelled that right) for about 5 hours.
does anyone have suggestions on what is fun to see and do there?
also, what is the terrain like? is it very steep hills or is it flat land? (i’m a florida flat-lander and am terrified of driving steep hills!

I’m going to be traveling on the Celebrity cruise line’s Century. has anyone been on that ship before? is there plenty of things to do on the boat? we have almost 3 whole days at sea and i don’t want to be as bored on the sea days as i was on my last cruise (carnival’s fantasy).

Ok, i got this old canoe by yates of tampa, which i havent found any info on at all.
so, its old. but it looks like maybe it has been stored outside in the florida sun for 15 years or something, ITS ALL CRACKED UP. (the outside of the boat)
like a car with 5 year old $100 paint job, hay, maybe its the paint?
anyhow, its all cracked up, spidered or what have you. I am just starting this project now when i knew they were there, but came across i wouldnt say holes but, deep goudges, not all the way thru, but exposing the fiberglass.
I wanna skim coat the whole thing before primeing, painting, sealing.
would you call these holes? should i get fiberglass patches, or fill them with the fiberglass body filler or resin, (bondo for fiberglass includeing marine repairs) and keep on my merry way?

I currently own a 49′ trawler and am making plans to cruise it full-time for several years. The desired cruise would start in January 2007 in Texas and continue into Mexico, Central and S. America, Trinidad, the Islands and returning to Florida. I am looking for an experienced cruising partner or couple to share this experience and some of the expenses.

I would appreciate suggestions and ideas on how to locate people who would be interested in such a trip, are knowledgeable in all aspects of blue water cruising, plus possess the right character traits (honest, flexible, adventurous, responsible, easy-going, etc.).

Also, I would appreciate any comments regarding specific experience, knowledge or traits I should be looking for in a cruising partner. For example, I am sure that speaking spanish would be a desireable asset.

Im looking for a place to dive and fish. I have a 38 foot boat and I want to go to a springs where the water is clear. The spring has to allow boats and diving and fishing if possible if not no biggie. I am in central florida in a lil town near the villages. I don’t mind traveling but wouldnt want to drive more than two and a half hours.I was thinking about Welaka Springs of the st.johns river in putnam county. his name is tony nolan.

His drug habits regularly landed him in trouble with the law, and he became a social outcast. But, God had plans for Tony and kept His hand of protection and blessing on him, even as he continued to slide farther down a dark path.

The next step along Tony’s road toward salvation was a high-paying, luxurious job as a yacht captain for a major business mogul. He was convinced this job would be his deliverance from the pain of life, and would bring him the happiness he longed for. It didn’t. This lead Tony to conclude that there is no reason to live. Hopeless, Tony wrestled with a deep desire to die. He quit his job on the yacht and spent his days drinking, and intensely wrestling with suicide.

February 24, 1989, could have been Tony’s last day on earth. Crushed by the rejection of his father’s words, telling him that he wished he had never bought him, suicide haunted his mind and heart. However, in the midnight of his storm, a ray of light from the Son of God broke through. Someone came and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Tony. Hearing that Jesus came to give hurting people life to the fullest, Tony prayed and received Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. Learning that God the Father, in contrast to his adopted father, had never regretted purchasing him with the priceless blood of his Son, Jesus, Tony was transformed by the Love of God.
His life changed completely that night. Radically born again, Jesus delivered him from all his drug addictions and began to mold and reshape his character, freeing him from his old self-sabotaging habits. Soon, God called Tony into full-time ministry and he went on to become an ordained and licensed Preacher of the Gospel.

Tony’s spiritual gift is Harvest Evangelism, or drawing the net, which he simply defines as “helping people get it about God’s great love and salvation.” God’s saving power is distinctly manifested wherever Tony preaches. In a single speaking event, about 3,000 people responded at the invitation and made public professions of faith in Christ.

(btw, the bahamas are out cus we couldnt book for only a couple of days)
